Full spectrum EMF audits

Home case_study Full spectrum EMF audits

Most audit reports that we come across cover partial spectrums only. In fact a lot of the audit devices used in such audits are constrained by the OEM to measure the spectrum range between 800MHz and 2400MHz. In effect, such devices and audits miss out measuring FM broadcast frequencies (80-110 MHz), TV Broadcast frequencies (450-550Mhz). They also miss out 5G frequency (700MHz, 3300MHz, 5000MHz). Simply put, it is dangerous and negligent not to understand and measure the full spectrum.

The scope of an EMF audit

EMF audit has two parts – ELF radiation audit (0-400KHz) and RF radiation audits (100KHz-300GHz). There are different devices (or probes) which are used to measure field readings in 0-400KHz range and 100KHz-300GHz range. The source of ELF radiation is a current carrying conductor. The source of RF radiation are wireless telecommunication devices. We provide RF audits across 27MHz-6000MHz (6GHz) range. We also provide ELF audits 0-400KHz. We can also measure the earth magnetic field between 0-7Hz. Any change in earth Magnetic fields is associated with Geopathic stress.

Broadband and Narrowband EMF Radiation audits

There are 2 other salient features of any audit – broadband spectrum measurements and narrowband measurements. An audit should not just cover the full spectrum Sigma value, (called Broadband measurement) but also high frequency cluster readings as evidenced with individual measurements for every such cluster (called narrowband measurement). This gives the auditor and the client an eagles view of the radiation levels in a premise while also accurately pointing out the high radiation frequency clusters – thereby allowing it to be identified.

Brightsandz, therefore is uniquely able to give the most comprehensive picture of premise radiation levels. We provide ELF audits and RF audits. We can provide broadband and narrowband measurements. This allows us to correctly identify a problem, without which a solution framework is very difficult to design.
